Bowerbird

This collection was inspired by the great Satin Bowerbird, an amazing bird architect who designs his own bachelor pad to attract a female mate. The pigeon-sized Casanova constructs an elaborate structure on the forest floor from twigs, leaves, and moss and decorates its “avenue” with blue decorative items including berries, feathers, ballpoint pens, drinking straws, and other discarded plastic items. Once a female enters his bower, he struts and dances to shows off his blue treasures in an attempt to woo her.

The Bowerbirds are made from colorful blue polished acrylic cones set in sterling silver accessories (Cones are approx 11mm to 52 mm).
